Winter on the Gerlitzen
In winter, the Gerlitzen Alpe turns into a popular ski area, especially for families and recreational winter sports enthusiasts. With 53 kilometres of slopes and 12 km of ski routes, the Welcome Beginners seal of quality and good snow reliability thanks to artificial snowmaking facilities, the area offers winter sports opportunities for all levels. Beginners and children can visit special practice zones and ski schools, while advanced skiers look for the more challenging descents. For those who don't ski, there are also cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails and snowshoeing opportunities. The central location of the slopes makes it possible to ski around the mountain, which provides a varied and panoramic skiing experience.
