The cable car takes you easily to the mountain station, from where you have access to numerous hiking trails and activities – ranging from short circular walks to longer tours with impressive views over Carinthia. At the middle station, children (and adults) can enjoy themselves to their heart's content on the go-kart track, trampoline, 3D archery course, pump-track mountain biking and tube gliding. Paragliders also like to make use of the open peaks and thermals. Along the way, cozy mountain huts invite you to take a break with a regional lunch or homemade cake.

The proximity to Lake Ossiach makes the Gerlitzen Alpe unique: you can go for a mountain hike in the morning and relax by the water in the afternoon or even go swimming, paddle boarding or sailing. This combination of mountain and lake makes a stay in the region extra versatile.
